This fuel question has come up before and apparently the V-Rod prefers ordinary fuel to very high octane fuel. I just use ordinary Unleaded, NOT Super Unleaded. Can't say I have noticed much difference between brands, even the much vaunted SHELL fuel with the Formula 1 connection was recently proved to be more advertising hype than wonder fuel
