My MK 4 ST with just over 1k on it and nearly 4 months old. (Not main car) up to now only has one of your problems, the fuel filler cover out of alignment and a bit fiddly to open but not quite catching. No rattles or squeaks whatsoever, and the stereo is excellent, not a thing. It was built mid October.
2013 focus st. Started with the popping and cracking, would reset after turning car on and off. Eventually was doing while car was off and parked. Removed fuse. Removed head unit and found melted/overheated solder joint on board. Remelted solder and cleaned and replaced heat sink compound. Worked for couple days then problem again.
