I own a 2006 BMW X5 4.4 with about 98k miles on it. For the past year I have been having an issue with my transmission shifting hard from 1st to 2nd gearwhen cold and even when the engine has warmed up, although when cold it would happen on a much more consistent basis. When the car was warm it would happen sporadically.
22 Sep 2016. #1. folks, looking at an 05 X5 here with 100k. The ad says it has a full service history but when I enquired it's only had 5. I thought this was a bit light for an 11 year old car, but the only reference to service intervals I can find online suggests that they are 24k apart, which ties in with the services of this car.
